Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about eligibility, applications, selection, shipping, and communication.

Is there a limit on the number of applications?

No. Broward Flyers & Printing may receive any number of applications during the open period. The number 100 applies only to the maximum number of real businesses that may ultimately be selected.

Is selection random?

No. Applications are reviewed internally based on eligibility, active business operations, completeness, the potential usefulness of the cards, and alignment with the campaign's objectives. Selection is not first-come, first-served.

Which businesses may apply?

Any legally registered, located, active, and operating U.S. business may submit an application. To be selected in this edition, the business must be Minority-Owned, Hispanic-Owned, Women-Owned, or any combination of these categories.

What happens if I select None of these?

The application may be submitted and retained by Broward Flyers & Printing for future opportunities and communications, but it will not be eligible for selection in this edition.

Do I need formal ownership certification?

Formal certification is not required when you apply. Broward Flyers & Printing may request reasonable documentation to verify selection eligibility before confirming a selection.

How much does it cost to apply?

Applying is free. No payment is collected during application, and making a purchase does not improve the chance of selection.

What do selected businesses receive?

Up to 100 selected businesses may receive 1,000 standard business cards each, for a total of 100,000 cards. Broward Flyers & Printing covers standard printing; final specifications are communicated before production.

Who pays shipping?

Broward Flyers & Printing covers standard printing. The selected business pays the shipping charge quoted for its address. Shipping is not collected during application and does not influence selection.

May I submit more than one application?

No. Only one application per person and one application per business are permitted. Duplicate submissions may be flagged, rejected, or disqualified.

May I participate if I previously purchased from BFP?

Not in this edition. The applicant must not have previously completed a paid order with Broward Flyers & Printing.

Can I edit my application after submitting it?

There is no public editing feature after submission. Save the reference shown on the confirmation page. If you notice a material error, contact BFP so the correction can be reviewed.

How can I check my application status?

You may request a secure link using the application reference and email. The portal shows only public status, updates, information requests, and fulfillment progress; it never shows scores or internal notes.

When will selected businesses be announced?

BFP reviews applications after the application period and contacts businesses directly by email. A specific review or notification date is not guaranteed.

When should I provide my logo or artwork?

Do not upload files during application. Selected businesses must provide print-ready artwork for one-sided or double-sided printing. Graphic design assistance may be available for an additional fee when production-ready files are not provided.

What happens when the campaign is closed or paused?

The form does not accept new submissions while the campaign is closed, paused, or outside the configured dates. Return during the published application period.

Is marketing consent required?

Yes, under the current program policy. Commercial messages will include an unsubscribe method. BFP may still send necessary administrative messages about an application already submitted.
